About the university
The Institute of Technology and Business today is one of the universities that determines the development of higher education not only in the city of Nakhodka, but also in the region. 9 departments of the Institute conduct training in 15 specialties and areas of higher and secondary vocational education. Teaching staff of more than 100 people, academic degree and academic title have 73 people, including 13 doctors of science, 60 candidates of science. In the structure of the Institute there are 3 faculties (business faculty, technological, extramural and additional education), research department, additional education center, information technology center, publishing and printing complex, career guidance and adaptation department, library. At the departments there are training laboratories: chemistry, physics, quality control, food technologies, engineering disciplines, testing materials and studying the arrangement of mechanisms, engineering support of processes and devices of food production.
