About the university
Moscow State University of Communications, Emperor Nicholas II, MGUPS (MIIT) is the largest scientific and educational complex of Russia, the all-Russian leader in the field of training and retraining of specialists and scientific personnel for transport and transport construction. As of September 1, 2017, the total contingent of trainees is about 105 thousand people, including about 34 thousand people on higher education programs (HE); Under programs of secondary vocational education (STR) - more than 18 thousand people. The University is the basic center of the transport industry in the field of additional vocational education (DPO). MIIT implements 480 DPO programs. Every year, on the basis of the head university and its branches, retraining and advanced training for up to 60,000 managers, specialists and workers in transport, transport construction and other areas of the economy are held. Among the 6 Russian universities MIIT has a license to implement IBA programs.
