Vorkuta branch of Ukhta State Technical University (VF UGTU) was established in 2000 on the basis of the order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation of November 23, 1999, No. 951 "On the establishment of a branch of the Ukhta State Technical University in Vorkuta". VF USTU is the federal state budget educational institution of higher education, located in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation in the city of Vorkuta.
