About the university
The University was reorganized in September 2016 as the Institute of Architecture and Construction by the Order of the Rector of Volgograd State Technical University No. 381. At present, the IA & S Volgograd State Technical University includes 4 faculties: Architecture and Urban Development Construction and Housing and Communal Services Transport, engineering systems and technospheric safety In the present composition of the IAI VolgTU 29 departments, 4 territorially undeveloped faculty, 27 specialized scientific and industrial laboratories and workshops. To the services of students and teachers is a powerful library and information complex. The main direction of AI & S activity of Volgograd State Technical University is the preparation of highly qualified building personnel: architects, engineers, ecologists, economists. Currently, we have more than 8,000 students studying in all forms of education. The educational process is conducted in 31 specialties, 14 undergraduate and 4 directions of magistracy.
