About the university
The first university nucleus of Adrar's mandate originated in 1986 under Decree No. 118/86 dated 06.05.1986 as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 175/86 dated 08/05/86, containing the establishment of the National Institute of Higher Sharia Adrar to expand to the University of Adrar under the Executive Decree No. 01-269 of 30 Jumada II 1422 corresponding to September 18th 2001, the amended Executive Decree No. 04-259 of 13 Rajab 1425 corresponding to August 29, 2004.
