About the university
1964: Establishment of the National School of Telecommunications in Algiers, which helped support specialized training, but the inadequate capacity of this school does not meet the needs of this sector. 1971: Establishment of the Oranje Institute of Telecommunications and Electronics (Cluster), the opening and work began with the first engineers of the application of incentives and techniques in temporary premises in October 1971 and its current location in January 1975. 1976: Establishment of the Institute of Telecommunications in Oran (ITO) under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) 2008: Institute of Telecommunications Abdelhafid Boussuf becomes the National Institute of Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies (INTTIC) under the direction of the Administrative MPTIC with double pedagogical supervision MPTIC MHESR.
