Founded in 1975, Université des Sciences et de la Technologie d'Oran (University of Science and Technology of Oran) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized city of Oran (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Algérie (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Algeria), Université des Sciences et de la Technologie d'Oran (USTOMB) is a coeducational higher education institution. Université des Sciences et de la Technologie d'Oran (USTOMB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. USTOMB also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
