About the university
The Aeronautical University Institute ( IUA ) is an agency dependent on the Argentine Air Force ; was created with the name of School of Aeronautical Engineering the 13 of December of 1947 , joining the National University System in the year 1971 (Decree no. 3179/71) Its current name was approved by Resolution no. 3/93 of the Ministry of Culture And Education, where it is categorized as a University Institute, and Law 24,521 integrates the set of National University Institutions. The motto of the institute is "mens agitat molem", which means "the mind moves the world". It has a system of scholarships, internal or external internships and agreements with centers of production of Science and Technology and Universities.
