About the university
It was created on 7 as June as 1995 by national law 24,496. 1 It began its academic activity in a building of the street Havana 568, in Valentín Alsina , ceded in comodato by the Federation of the Meat and later, were yielded by the National Laws Nº 24750 and 24751 10 hectares of earth in Remedios de Escalada , Belonging to the workshops of the Roca line of the Argentine Railways. In 2004 it had 500 teachers, almost 6000 students (an increase of 28% over 1999) and an allocated budget of $ 11,500,000.
