About the university
Año 1988 Creación de la Universidad Nacional de Formosa Por Ley Nº 23.631 del 24 de septiembre de 1988 se crea la Universidad Nacional de Formosa; así se inicia el proceso de transferencia de las Unidades Académicas dependientes de la UNNE, con asiento en Formosa, a lo que será la nueva casa de estudios. 1. Primera gestión organizadora: a cargo del Dr. Juan Carlos Candia (Decreto Nacional Nº 1699/88), con una duración de 11 meses: desde el 24-09-88 al 13-07-89. Las resoluciones consultadas dan cuenta de las primeras medidas adoptada por la conducción: adopción del Estatuto Universitario de la Universidad de Lomas de Zamora; reestructuración de la organización académico-administrativa recibida de la UNNE (se modifica la denominación de la Facultad de Recursos Naturales Renovables por Recursos Naturales, se transforma la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación Agraria en Facultad de Humanidades y se reestructura el IUF). Inmediatamente se dictan instrumentos normativos relacionados con la organización y normalización: Régimen de incompatibilidades docentes; Reglamento de concursos docentes; Convocatoria a concursos docentes para profesores ordinarios; Reglamento electoral para todos los claustros; Calendario Electoral. Se cumplen las etapas de inscripción de postulantes, aprobación y publicación de tribunales evaluadores, pero este proceso se interrumpe a raíz del cambio de gobierno en el orden Nacional. 2. Segunda gestión Organizadora: a cargo del Profesor Ramón Francisco Giménez (Decreto Nacional Nº 430/89). Es una de las más breves, ya que registra una duración de cuatro meses: desde el 07-08-89 al 10-12-89. Esta gestión posterga por 120 días todos los concursos docentes hasta tanto se defina el perfil de la Universidad, se modifiquen normas reglamentarias defectuosas, se determinen asignaturas por concursar y se disponga de las partidas presupuestarias necesarias para cubrir tales erogaciones.
