About the university
The Vorarlberger Landeskonservatorium is an Austrian conservatory based in the town of Feldkirch in Vorarlberg. The Vorarlberger Landeskonservatorium goes back to the Jesuitenkolleg Stella Matutina, founded in 1856, whose building is used today. The Landeskonservatorium was founded as a Conservatory in 1977 and converted into a limited liability company in 2003. The new director was Anselm Hartmann, whose term until 2006 included the conclusion of the cooperation agreement of the Landeskonservatorium with the University Mozarteum Salzburg.
