About the university
The Pädagogische Hochschule Vorarlberg is a pedagogical university in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. At the Feldkirch site, she offers Bachelor studies for the Lehramt at Volksschulen and Neue Mittelschulen, organizes further and advanced training for approximately 6,500 teachers of all Scholars in Vorarlberg and trains recreational pedagogues. Practical schools at the University of Applied Sciences enable students to study in the Volksschule or New Mittelschule. PH Vorarlberg was founded on September 29, 2007, the official full operation started on October 1, 2007. The pedagogical academy was the predecessor of the pedagogical academy, which was located in the same building in Feldkirch until its founding as a PH.
