Established in 2008, Bangladesh University of Professionals is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the medium-sized town of Mirpur (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Dhaka. Officially accredited/recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) is a very small (enrollment range: under-250 students) coeducational higher education institution. Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 9 years old H.E. institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades.
