About the university
L'IAD-Théâtre, École supérieure des arts, organise des formations en Interprétation dramatique (théâtre, cinéma, radio, doublage...) et à la Mise en scène. La ligne directrice des études à l’IAD-Théâtre est la formation d’acteurs/comédiens ouverts à toutes les facettes du métier, et conscients du monde dans lequel ils vivent; polyvalents, autonomes, capables de s’inscrire dans un projet global. Méthodes : dès la première année, la formation s’effectue sous forme de projets, dirigés par des pédagogues issus d’horizons théâtraux divers, réunis autour d’axes pédagogiques élaborés et actualisés par le collège des professeurs et des étudiants lors des conseils d’option. Le cursus jusqu'au Master 1 comprend dix projets principaux d’interprétation dramatique, à quoi s’ajoutent divers ateliers et modules spécifiques. Est abordée la plus grande variété possible d’œuvres et de styles, tant dans la dramaturgie contemporaine que dans le répertoire classique, francophones ou étrangers. Les professeurs sont à la fois artistes (acteurs, comédiens, metteurs en scène, directeurs de compagnies, etc…) et pédagogues.
