About the university
BICPA-FTMS Accountancy Academy (BFAA) established in 2002 is the culmination of a joint venture agreement between the Brunei Darussalam Institute of Certified Public Accountants (BICPA) and FTMS Global Incorporated (FTMS). The formation of the Academy is in line with BICPA’s objective of encouraging training and education of person’s studying accountancy in Brunei Darussalam. he institute is known as “THE BRUNEI DARUSSALAM INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS” (BICPA). The principal activity of the Institute is to provide an entity for accountants to support and advance the status and interest of the accountancy profession in line with the aims and objectives of the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
