About the university
The University of Medicine Magway is recognized by the government of the country for award of the medical degree that allows the practice of medicine in our country by graduate of the university. Recognition of the University of Medicine Magway was granted on 14th December 2000 by the government. The date of instruction and the date classes began was 22nd may 2001. The graduate of the University of Medicine Magway become eligible for medical licensure on 3rd November 2007. Listed in the list of Avicenna Directory of Medical schools by WHO in 2011.
