About the university
The State Educational Institution "Academy of Postgraduate Education" was established by the decision of the Ministry of Education in July 1997, on the basis of the Institute of Training and Retraining of managers and specialists in the sphere of education (Order of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus on July 23, 1997 № 418). The Academy carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the Code of Education, Resolutions of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on July 15, 2011 № 954 "On Certain Issues of Further Education for Adults" permit (license) № 02100/289 to carry out educational activities, the Charter, and the quality policy. The Academy is a leading institution of continuing education for adults in the sphere of education according to speciality “Pedagogy” (areas of education "Childhood Pedagogy", "Pedagogy of Adolescence and Early Adulthood", "General Pedagogy"), "Pedagogy.
