About the university
From the day of its foundation, the Belarusian State University of Physical Education grew out of a small physical education technical school, in which in 1929 several dozens of students were engaged in the leading and largest university for training personnel in the field of physical culture, sports and tourism, not only in the Republic of Belarus, but also in the CIS countries. Today we have 4 581 students. There are 51 students in the magistracy, 56 in postgraduate study, 2 in doctoral studies, including representatives from Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Syria, Libya, Iran, Iraq, China, China, Israel. In different years we have studied citizens of Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries.
