The structure of the State University. F. Skaryna includes: 13 faculties; Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining; 2 research institutes; 18 research laboratories; 42 student research units; 48 departments; The general university museum-laboratory of Francysk Skaryna, 7 museum expositions of faculties, post-graduate studies, doctoral studies. Higher education in the State University is carried out on 35 specialties of the first stage of education and 22 specialties - the second, 69 specializations. Training of highly qualified personnel is conducted in graduate school in 51 specialties, in doctoral studies - in 5 specialties. For admission to the GSU, it is necessary to successfully pass the centralized testing. There are 9949 students enrolled at the university, of which 5508 are full-time and 4441 are part-time students, 90 graduate students, and 1 doctoral student (April 2016). In the complex of the State University there are 1422 employees, including faculty (PPP) (excluding part-timers) - 657 people. Among the teaching staff and scientists there are 4 corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, 39 doctors of science, 34 professors, 248 candidates of sciences, 206 associate professors.
