About the university
The history of the educational institution dates back to August 19, 1993, when in accordance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 564, the Faculty of Border Troops was established on the basis of the Minsk Higher Military-Political Combined Arms School. On May 17, 1995 the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 192, where the faculty of the frontier troops entered. The first release of officers was carried out in 1997. During the existence of the faculty, 13 issues were conducted, about 1000 highly qualified border officers were trained, 25 graduates received gold medals, 69 graduates with a diploma with honors. The state institution of education "The Institute of the Border Service of the Republic of Belarus" was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of May 5, 2010, No. 237.
