About the university
Minsk State Linguistic University, originally from Minsk State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages - higher education institution founded in 1948. Offers for learning English, German, French, Spanish (all of these are teaching), the translation department, faculty of international relations and training, faculty of Russian language for foreign citizens and for the retraining of faculty (of 9). The university has 5 professional associations: Belarusian Association of Teachers of English, French and German languages, the Belarusian Association of communicative linguistics, the Belarusian Association of American Studies. Students have opportunities to be creative. For example, a student choir «Cantus Juventae» existed for 15 years. The repertoire - Belarusian folk music, spiritual songs, famous works of Belarusian and foreign composers, jazz and others. The choir has released three CDs with his songs.
