About the university
The activity of the university in Mozyrshchina began in March 1944 on the basis of the Rogachev Teachers' Institute. The decision to create a teacher's institute in Mozyr in the war years was evidence of the significant role that the university was called upon to play in the solution of strategically important educational and educational tasks in the republic. The Institute consisted of three departments: language and literature, physics and mathematics and history and geography, for which 210 people were admitted. The structure of the institute consisted of 7 departments, on which 27 teachers worked.
