About the university
AHID is a bilingual higher institution in charge of training Undergraduate candidates, holders of advanced level certificate and ordinary level certificate. AHID offers BSc, HND, DSEP and OND programes both in the medical science and business management and finance field. The medical science field offers programs in Nursing (NU), medical laboratory science (MLS) and Pharmacy technology (PT). The business management and finance field offers programs in Accounting, Banking and finance, Management and Marketing. Duration of training is three years for Medical Science field and two years for the business management and finance field. At the end of training a Higher National Diploma(HND) is offered to the students who passed the exams. The Higher National Diploma is offered by the Ministry of Higher Education to students who have being judged apt and competent during practical and theoretical exams.
