About the university
CUIB as a Catholic Business/Professional institution has a dual - general and specific – task: to teach the faith and to disseminate and further develop Catholic Social Thought (CST). To achieve this CUIB engages its students in ideas of vocation, faith and reason, spirituality of work, principles of CST, the cardinal and theological virtues, and social responsibilities, all of which are meant to move them to a richer understanding of and relationship with God. As a Catholic business Institution, CUIB’s formation is geared towards practical wisdom, an education that engages its students in the utilization of highly effective means toward morally good ends. It is an education in both the how and the why of business.
