About the university
Institute of Applied Medical Sciences (IAMS) was founded in 2003 as a vocational training institute, accredited in 2008 as a higher institute (HIAMS) by the Ministry of Higher Education, extended in 2012 to include Higher Institute of Applied Engineering and Business Studies (HIAEBS) and now evolving into University Institutes of Applied Studies (UIAS). We are fully committed and engaged in Total Quality Management in higher education, a continues process of evaluation and improvement with the vision of becoming the most outstanding private higher education institution in Cameroon by 2020.
