Founded in 1841, Queen's University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the large town Kingston (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Ontario. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development, Ontario, Queen's University (QU) is a large (enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Queen's University (QU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Queen's University institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Canadian higher education organization a least selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
