About the university
The National Institute for Scientific Research (INRS) is a graduate university composed of four research and training centers located in different cities in Quebec. INRS plays a key role in the advancement of scientific knowledge and the training of a highly qualified succession in strategic sectors of research, both in Quebec and in the rest of the world. • INRS is the first and only Canadian university hosted by the International University of Venice. • The International Network of Institutes Pasteur has a single North American university among its members: the INRS. • INRS research teams participate in international scientific networks in cutting-edge fields such as nanotechnology, plasma technology and applications, and peptide pharmacology. • INRS offers co-supervision programs leading to the bidiplomation with France, Italy and Morocco. • More than 50% of master's and doctoral students are from overseas, compared to the Canadian average of 28%, according to Canadian Universities in the World: AUCC Internationalization Survey .
