The Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) which is the premier professional body for engineers in Sri Lanka has gained reputation as an important provider of engineering education in the country. The history of the IESL Engineering course dates back to 1967. Over the years it has undergone several reforms in order to make it more attractive, relevant and to improve its standards to a degree-equivalent. In 2011, The IESL College of Engineering (pvt) Ltd., a company fully-owned by the IESL, was established with the intention of conducting the Engineering Course in a more efficient and effective manner. The IESL College of Engineering (IESLCE) is committed to provide the students high quality education in major fields of engineering while fostering innovation and creativity among them.
