About the university
The Adventist University of Chile (UnACh) is an institution of higher education belonging to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, founding member and organizer of it. This condition links it to a global network of 113 higher education institutions supported by the Adventist Church around the world. Her academic, cultural and social work links her actively with the province of Ñuble, where most of her students come from. The UnACh begins its activities in the year 1990. Its registration in the Register of Universities is with the Folio C Nº 42 of the 6 of February of 1990. Nevertheless, the UnACh is heiress of a prolific and long educational tradition of almost 110 years of history , Which goes back to the educational institutions that preceded it. Its beginnings are in the year 1906 when a superior college is established in Púa, in the province of Malleco, in order to give academic training to those who would serve as ministers, teachers and administrators of the institutions of the Seventh-day Adventist Church Day in Chile.
