About the university
As an alternative to the traditional educational system and under the concept of contributing to the transformation of national and Latin American reality, the Bolivarian University of Venezuela was born in revolution. Created by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez Frías, according to presidential decree n ° 2517 dated July 18, 2003, the Casa de los Saberes becomes a space for students and teachers to generate contributions for the Systematization and socialization in their communities of cultural, educational, scientific, technological, social and humanistic knowledge, based on the integrationist thinking of El Libertador Simón Bolívar.
