About the university
The Catholic University of the Holy Conception is an institution of higher education, founded by Decree of the Archbishop of Concepción, Monseñor Antonio Moreno Casamitjana, dated July 10, 1991. It is a continuation of the Regional Office Talcahuano that the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile In the Region of Biobio, since the year 1970. This school is accredited by the National Accreditation Commission (CNA) for 4 years, from November 15, 2016 to November 15, 2020, in the areas of Undergraduate Teaching, Institutional Management and Linkage to the Environment.
