About the university
The University of Las Américas (UDLA) is a private autonomous Chilean university founded in 1988. It has eight campuses, five in Santiago de Chile, one in Viña del Mar and two in Concepción. It was the first university in Chile to join the Laureate International Universities network of private universities. Universidad de Las Américas is ranked 46th in Chilean universities according to the CSIC web-based classification, in June 2016, out of a total of 79 institutions considered.5 It is also ranked 41th among universities in the country out of a total of 59, According to the ranking of AméricaEconomía 2012.
