About the university
Founded in 1982, UCEN is - together with two other institutions - the oldest private university in Chile. He currently has technical degrees at the higher level, a regional headquarters in La Serena and nine faculties that offer 30 undergraduate degrees, and several diplomas, master's and postgraduate degrees; Particularly through research centers, research institutes, and an Internal Research Fund, which are added to the research work carried out in faculties, schools and chairs.
