About the university
Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications predecessor was born in 1942 in Shandong anti-Japanese base of the Eighth Route Army war postal training classes, is our party, our early system of training personnel training one of the schools. 1958 by the State Council approved the transformation of undergraduate colleges, named after the Nanjing Institute of Posts and Telecommunications; in April 2005, changed its name to Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. The school was originally the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Information Industry directly under the key colleges and universities, since 2000 the implementation of the central and local (now the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Post Bureau and Jiangsu Province) to build, mainly in Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Province, Construction of colleges and universities. In October 2013, the former Nanjing Population Management Cadre College was formally incorporated into Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
