About the university
Chengdu University of Information Technology is a Chinese university founded in 1951. It is a key developing provincial university joint building by China Meteorological Administration and Sichuan Province.[1] It is the only university independently specializing in information technology in southwest China, and is the member of CDIO world organization.[2] From 2004, It started to educate reserve army officers for strategic missile forces which named Second Artillery Corps (SAC) in People's Liberation Army of the People's Republic of China .[3]CUIT offers Associate, Bachelor and Master degree programs in areas including Atmospheric Science, Information Science and Technology, Environmental Science and Engineering.
