About the university
Shaanxi Railway Engineering Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1973, the predecessor of the Ministry of Railways Weinan Railway Engineering School. 2002 by the Ministry of Railways was placed under the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, in 2003 by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government approval, the Ministry of Education for the record, reform and upgrading to specialist level of higher vocational and technical college.
