About the university
Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College (WZVTC), founded with the approval of the State Ministry of Education in 1999, is a full-time public college. The college has been awarded as “National Model (in construction) Vocational and Technical College”, “the Outstanding Institution of National Vocational Education”, “the National Excellent Vocational and Technical School in Bring up Talents Evaluation”. WZVTC offers 33 specialties in 8 departments, specialties of this college cover pillar industry and specific trade of Southern Zhejiang Province. Now more than 9000 full-time students are studying in WZVTC, and it is the only college which has been issued the right to recruit students by its own entry standard in Wenzhou.
