About the university
Chengde Petroleum College began in 1903 founded in Tianjin, "Northern Technology School", is one of the earliest high industrial vocational schools. The school began in 1952 mainly for the oil industry services, in 1958 moved to Chengde City, Hebei Province. Is now the central and local to build, to Hebei Province People's Government management-based general college. School in 1997 to become the Ministry of Education national demonstration of higher engineering specialist key construction schools, in 2007 was identified as the national demonstration of higher vocational colleges key construction units, in 2010 was named the national demonstration of higher vocational colleges outstanding construction units. In 2011 the school through a new round of higher vocational training personnel assessment.
