About the university
Urumqi Vocational University was established in 1985, Urumqi City is the only comprehensive full-time ordinary higher vocational colleges, Xinjiang is the reform and opening up after the establishment of the first higher vocational institutions. The school has five campuses (happy road school headquarters and the West Campus, Youth Road campus, five-star campus, Xiangyun new campus), the current covers an area of 1325 acres. The total assets of the school 700 million yuan, there are 224 experimental (training) room and 259 outside practice training base, which teaching and research equipment worth 103 million yuan, the library of various books (including e-books) 95 million book.
