About the university
Sichuan Construction Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time institutions of higher learning, belonging to the Sichuan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban and Rural Development. College originated in 1956 to set up the Chengdu Urban Construction Engineering School, in 1958 changed its name to Chengdu Construction Engineering School. 1963 moved to Sichuan Deyang, in 1980 changed its name to the Sichuan Provincial Construction Engineering School, and the Ministry of Education identified as the national key secondary school. 1992 was the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, the provincial government named the provincial civilized units, in 1994 by the former State Board of Education identified as the focus of secondary school. In 2001, approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, the original Sichuan Province Construction Engineering School, Sichuan Province Urban Construction School, Sichuan Province Construction Workers University upgraded to Sichuan Construction Vocational and Technical College. In 2003, the original China Second Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. merged into the staff of the University, set the power of four schools, colleges and universities to enhance the strength of the school.
