About the university
Taizhou University (Taizhou University) is a by the Taizhou Municipal People's Government , approved by the Ministry of Education, from Zhejiang Province and Taizhou City to build a comprehensive general colleges and universities. Taizhou College was established in 1978 by the State Council approved the establishment of the Taizhou Teachers College, the school can be traced back to the beginning of 1907 to set up three junior high school teacher division. Taizhou Teachers Training Institute, Linhai Normal School, Taizhou Health School, Wenling Normal School has been incorporated. In 2002, the school upgraded to undergraduate colleges and universities, and changed its name to Taizhou University.
