About the university
Huaihua Vocational and Technical College, located in Huaihua City, Hunan Province, is a comprehensive, full-time comprehensive vocational college, which is a birthplace of agricultural, cultural, rational and compatible. It is the birthplace of hybrid rice and Yuan Longping , academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering . School predecessor in 1939 to create the National Eleventh Middle School Occupation Department, in February 1950, changed its name to Hunan Province Anjiang agriculture and forestry technical schools. In April 2003, the Ministry of Education of the People's Government of Hunan Province approved the establishment of Huaihua Vocational and Technical College on the basis of the merger of Anjiang Agricultural School and Huaihua Electrical and Mechanical Engineering School in Hunan Province.
