About the university
Tianjin Vocational and Technical Normal University is the earliest established normal teacher colleges in China to establish vocational teachers as the main task. It was established in 1979 and belongs to the former Ministry of Labor. In 2010, it was renamed Tianjin Vocational and Technical Normal University. In 2012, The Ministry of Education and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government to build Tianjin Vocational and Technical Normal University, Tianjin local colleges and universities to become the only one city to build colleges and universities. December 5, 2014, selected for excellence in teacher training program.
