Chongqing Vocational and Technical College is approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, the Ministry of Education for the record, independent set of full-time public ordinary institutions of higher learning , the school adhere to the Lide tree as a fundamental task of school education, mainly for equipment manufacturing, Information and modern service industry to cultivate a good moral quality, the courage to forge ahead with innovation, employment and entrepreneurial ability of strong application, compound, innovative high-quality high-skilled personnel. The school is the first batch of national exemplary higher vocational colleges. The school is the predecessor of Chongqing Machinery Manufacturing School. 1956 years, the former National Machinery Industry Ministry created; 2000 , the Chongqing Chongqing mechanical machine building schools and university workers merger upgraded to Chongqing Polytechnic College; 2006 , becoming the first batch of 28 Suo national demonstration vocational colleges; 2010 Year, the school from Jiulongpo District Yuanjiagang overall relocation into Yubei Airport Renbi Tan new campus (Taoyuan Road 1000 , from Jiangbei International Airport 1.5 km).
