About the university
inling Institute of Science and Technology is located in the ancient capital of Nanjing in the Six Dynasties , is a so far to cultivate advanced application talents based full-time ordinary undergraduate colleges, the Ministry of Education Applied Science and Technology University reform pilot strategic research unit, China Applied Technology University (College) Union founding unit. The school predecessor was established in 1980, the new China's first vocational college - Jinling Vocational University and set up in 1958, rebuilt in 1984, Nanjing Agricultural College. June 2002 by the Ministry of Education and provincial and municipal governments approved the merger of the two schools to build Jinling Institute of Technology , in March 2005 was formally established.
