About the university
Chongqing Finance and Economics Vocational College is held by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, mainly financial and professional, with independent high school education issued by the general qualifications of full-time public higher vocational institutions. The school was founded in 1956, the name of Jiangjin area financial and trade cadres school, to carry out cadre education and training; in 1974 to run full-time secondary education; in 1983 changed its name to Chongqing second financial and trade school; 2007 transformation was upgraded to ordinary higher vocational colleges, Changed its name to Chongqing Finance and Economics Vocational College, held higher vocational education. As of December 2015, the school covers an area of 710 acres, construction area of more than 160,000 square meters, the library collection of more than 40 million; seven teaching department, enrollment professional 19; 320 full-time teachers, full-time students 7181 people (as of August 2015)
