About the university
Xiamen Huaxia Institute is approved by the Ministry of Education to set up the application of undergraduate institutions. The school was founded in 1993, when the private Xiamen Xiamen University. In 2001, changed its name to "Xiamen Huaxia Vocational College". In 2014 the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Xiamen Huaxia Vocational College on the basis of undergraduate level Xiamen Huaxia Institute, April 28, 2015 formally approved the establishment. The school is located in Xiamen Jimei District after the town, as of May 2015, the campus covers an area of 602.97 acres, construction area of 186,500 square meters, the school teaching and research equipment worth 6672.18 million yuan, the library area of 17,700 square meters, paper Quality books 68.60 million, with electronic books equivalent to 749,000, available database resources 62, training center area of 55,900 square meters, the school laboratory (training) room 127, 115 practice base outside the school, engineering professional teaching practice factory 4.
