About the university
Minjiang Teachers College is the Fuzhou Municipal People's Government held a full-time public general college. School history can be traced back to 1903 by Chen Baochen founded the whole Fujian Normal School. In April 2004, the integration of the original Fuzhou Education Institute, Fuzhou Normal School and other five units set up a new Fuzhou Institute of Education; May 2013, the school changed its name to Minjiang Teachers College. In April 2016, Fuzhou Industrial School, Fuzhou Art School was placed under the management of Minjiang Teachers College. According to the school in May 2017 school official website data, the school a total of Qishan campus, Guanglu Square campus, Cangshan campus, sugar cane campus four campuses, covers an area of 568.4 acres (including the west side of the mountain area has been included in the planning of 178 acres of educational land ), Construction area of 175,000 square meters; with "eight series of two", set up professional 23; 198 full-time teachers, full-time students in nearly 5,000 people.
