About the university
Nanjing Open University (Nanjing Radio and Television University), founded in February 1979, the original radio and television university in Jiangsu Province, Nanjing City, in July 1985 approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, to the current name. November 1991 approved by the State Education Commission, as an independent set of provincial radio and television universities, administrative subordinate to the Nanjing Municipal People's Government.
