About the university
Zhengzhou University (ZZU), run by the People’s Government of Henan Province, is located at No. 100, Kexue Avenue, Zhengzhou City, Henan. It boasts of a total area of about 939 acres with four campuses in Zhengzhou city which are the Main Campus (No. 100, Kexue Road), South Campus (No. 75, Daxuebei Road), North Campus (No. 97, Wenhua Road) and East Campus (No. 40, Daxuebei Road). ZZU enrolls students nationwide and there are over 50,000 full-time undergraduates, more than 22,000 postgraduates and around 2,500 international students from 85 countries and regions currently studying on campus. ZZU, as one of the “211 Project” key universities in China, is included in the national scheme of “Development of World-Class Universities and World-Class Disciplines” and co-developed by the Ministry of Education and Henan Provincial Government. At a new historic starting point, ZZU has established a three-step strategy to strive for a world-class comprehensive and research-oriented university by the middle of this century.
